There's something about a warm, buttery loaf of garlic bread that makes everyone smile. Using Roasted Garlic brings this garlic French bread to a whole new level of goodness!

Preheat the oven to 350°

1 loaf Italian French bread, cut into 1" slices
1 stick or 1/2 cup Earth Balance Buttery Spread
2 tablespoons roasted garlic (or three large cloves)
1/2 teaspoon dried, (or fresh) basil, chopped

Wrap the entire loaf of pre-sliced French bread in foil, then place it on the center rack in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until warmed through to the center.

Meanwhile, melt the Earth Balance Butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the roasted garlic and basil. Stir until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.

Once heated, carefully pull the foil back. Add about a tablespoon of melted garlic butter in between each slice. Close the foil over the loaf once again, and return to the oven for 5 minutes.

Serve warm.
