Roasted chickpeas are irresistible, crunchy little bites of heaven. They're high in fiber, which is good news for your waistline, and they're incredibly satisfying!

Here's what you need!

1 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon paprika, curry powder, cumin, or any other choice of spice. (Optional)

Preheat the oven to 425°.

Drain and rinse your chickpeas. Spread them on a kitchen towel and gently pat them dry.

Transfer the chickpeas onto a baking sheet and gently toss them with olive oil and salt.

Roast the chickpeas for 20 to 30 minutes or until crisp. Because ovens can vary, begin checking at the 20-minute mark and adjust time as needed until your chickpeas are crispy.

Remove from the oven and while still warm, toss with desired spices.
