Kale chips make for healthy snacking, so if you struggle to get kids to eat their greens, set out a bowl of these and watch them disappear!
1 large bunch of kale, stems removed, and leaves torn into 1 to 3-inch pieces
2 tablespoons of oil
Pinch of fine sea salt
1/4 to 1/3 cup of nutritional yeast
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Massage the leaves of the prepared kale with the oil. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and the nutritional yeast and toss to coat. Go easy on the salt; a little goes a long way.
Spread the kale onto 2 large Baking Sheets
Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until the kale chips are nice and crispy.
Enjoy them just as you would potato chips!
If you want to get a little more creative with these chips, sprinkle with cumin, chili powder, or cayenne. You can also change up the oil you use! We love blood orange oil, but you could use lemon, basil, garlic-infused, whatever you like! It's ALL good!
