Peppermint Milkshakes are as refreshing and delicious as they sound! How could they not be? So go ahead, treat yourself to something special!
1-pint non-dairy vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup non-dairy milk
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
3 drops green food coloring*
1 Oreo cookie, crushed and divided
Blend ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, vanilla and food coloring in a Blender until smooth.
Add about 3/4 of the Oreo cookie crumbs and continue blending for another few seconds, just until combined.
Pour the mixture into serving glasses.
Garnish with vegan Whipped Cream Topping., then sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs over the top.
Add a sprig of mint if desired.
*Note: If the idea of using commercial food coloring doesn't appeal to you, try substituting Spinach Powder to give your shake that beautiful green color while adding extra nutrition at the same time.
