Whether you call it icing or frosting, we call it delicious! This cream cheese icing is perfect for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and more!
4 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 stick vegan butter, room temperature
8 ounces of vegan cream cheese, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine the butter and cream cheese in the bowl of a stand mixer or a medium-sized mixing bowl and beat until fully combined and creamy.
Add the pure vanilla extract and salt, and mix for about 30 seconds to combine.
With the mixer on low, gradually add the powdered sugar, a cup at a time, until thoroughly combined.
Use this icing to frost a completely cooled cake, cupcakes, or warm cinnamon rolls.
