If it's a chocolate craving you're wrestling with, get ready to win the match! These Chunky Nut Brownies will satisfy even the strongest chocolate craving.

3/4 cup non-dairy milk
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 cups unbleached white flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup avocado oil (can substitute with vegetable oil if needed)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup vegan semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk and vinegar, then set aside.

Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Whisk the milk mixture until smooth, then whisk in the sugar, oil, and vanilla. Next, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until well combined and smooth. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and almonds.

Pour into a prepared baking dish and bake for 28 to 32 minutes.
