We love delicious, simple dinners you can prepare and have on the table in under 30-minutes. Served with a tossed salad and your favorite crusty bread makes this the absolute perfect meal, anytime! And don't worry, the pasta isn't really angry.

1 pound pasta (penne or spaghetti)
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 large garlic cloves, minced
One 32-ounce can of fire-roasted tomatoes
1 to 2 teaspoons red pepper flake
salt & pepper to taste
fresh basil or parsley (optional)

Add pasta to a large pot of heavily salted boiling water and cook until al dente.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.

Next, add in the canned tomatoes and red pepper flake and stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and allow the arrabbiata sauce to simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

To serve, divide the pasta among individual serving bowls, then top with a generous portion of the sauce and garnish with chopped fresh parsley or fresh basil.
